Lot Photo Description Realized
Lot 984
1851-O Silver Three Cents. PCGS graded MS-64 PQ. One of the most popular issues from this series and very challenging to locate this nice! Light hints of champagne are noted on the obverse and reverse. Luster abounds everywhere and the only surface marks are a few very, very light hairline scratches on the reverse. An impressive example of this first year of issue for Type I Three Cent Silver and the only New Orleans Type I 3CS. Housed in an old PCGS green label holder and choice for the grade. PCGS population of 56 in MS-64, 33 in MS-65 and 7 in MS-66 (PCGS # 3665) .
Estimated Value $800 - 1,000.

1873 Silver Three Cents. PCGS graded Proof 64 Cameo. An untoned and white proof with a mintage of only 600 pieces.
